On Sunday, November 13, 2016, Alcohol and Drug Education Specialists (ADES) held their inaugural charity golf day at Club Mandalay, Beveridge, to raise money for the Bridge Youth Service Seymour.

With the weather forecast looking average, 44 players braved the conditions to compete in the two man ambrose event and try their luck in winning some of the $2000+ in prizes that were up for grabs. Most players completed 14 holes before thunder and lightning interrupted play and forced everyone on course to head back to the clubhouse. In testing conditions, there were some impressive scores with four groups finishing under the scorecard off the stick after 14 holes.

The day wouldn't have been possible without the sponsors of the Alcohol and Drug Education Specialists Golf Day. We would like to thank: Club Mandalay, Willprint Shepparton, Kilmore and Seymour Toyota, Kilmore Trackside, Redline Breathalysers and Love Me Love You. Without your support, the day wouldn't have been as successful as it was.

Thank you to everyone who supported and attended the charity golf day. Through your donations and generosity a grand total of $1248 was raised for the Bridge Youth Service Seymour.
